Evidence-led comments
Use observations, not labels.
Prepare the learner's demonstrated strength, current difficulty, recent progress, work habit and one realistic next step. Avoid entering sensitive medical, disciplinary or family information into a general generation form. Use anonymous or minimal context where possible.
A useful request might say: “Draft a warm, professional comment for a learner who understands multiplication facts, explains answers during discussion, but rushes written multi-step problems. Recommend checking each step before submission.” The resulting draft should still be checked against actual records and school policy.
Remove vague praise, unsupported claims, comparisons with classmates and promises about future performance. Confirm the learner's name, pronouns, subject language and tone. The comment should help a parent or learner understand what is going well and what action comes next.
